Warranty Policy

1. Introduction

Purch Electronics is committed to delivering high-quality electronic products and exceptional customer service. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing warranty coverage for products purchased from Purch Electronics.

2. Warranty Coverage

Purch Electronics warrants that all products are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period.

Covered Under Warranty

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Hardware faults not caused by user damage
  • Internal component failures
  • Battery defects (where applicable)
  • Inverter defects arising from materials or workmanship under normal use

Not Covered Under Warranty

  • Physical damage (e.g., cracked screens, dents, broken ports)
  • Water or liquid damage
  • Damage caused by power surges or improper electrical connections
  • Unauthorized repairs, tampering, or modifications
  • Software-related issues not caused by hardware defects
  • Inverter accessories

Note: Material defects do not include cosmetic issues such as scratches, stains, rust, mold, abrasions, or general wear and tear that do not affect product functionality.

3. Warranty Period

Unless otherwise stated on the product invoice, the standard warranty periods are:

  • Home Electronics: 12-24 months (depending on product category)
  • Batteries: 6 months (where applicable)
  • Inverters: 5 years

The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase as indicated on the receipt or invoice.

4. Warranty Service Process

To make a warranty claim, customers must:

  1. Present the original purchase receipt or invoice
  2. Submit the product to an authorized Purch Electronics service center
  3. Provide a clear description of the issue, including details of any previous claims (if applicable)
  4. Report the defect within one (1) month of discovering the fault

Additional Requirements for Inverters

  • A fault report must be submitted using Purch Electronics' repair request template before any replacement
  • Necessary technical and system information must be provided for verification
  • Purch Electronics may coordinate with the original installer where installation-related issues are suspected

Purch Electronics may conduct an on-site inspection where necessary to determine the root cause of the issue. All products will be inspected to confirm whether the defect is covered under warranty.

5. Repair or Replacement Terms

If a valid warranty defect is confirmed, Purch Electronics will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product at no cost, or
  • Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of equal value, or
  • Provide store credit where repair or replacement is not feasible

For inverters, Purch Electronics may also resolve issues via software updates or configuration adjustments.

Important Notes

  • Warranty service may take 7-21 business days, depending on parts availability
  • Replacement products will carry the remaining warranty period of the original item

6. Warranty Void Conditions

This warranty shall be void if:

  • The product has been opened, tampered with, or repaired by unauthorized personnel
  • Damage results from misuse, negligence, or accidents
  • The product is used for commercial or non-recommended purposes
  • Full payment for the product has not been completed
  • The product's serial number or model identification has been altered, removed, or is unreadable
  • Installation was not started within one (1) month or completed within three (3) months from purchase (where applicable)
  • The product is relocated from its original installation site without written approval from Purch Electronics

Additional Inverter-Specific Void Conditions

  • Failure to comply with product user manuals or usage/transportation requirements
  • Improper installation, wiring, storage, or handling
  • Use of incompatible electrical parameters (AC/DC voltage)
  • Damage caused by installation errors
  • Failure to report faults within 4 weeks
  • Refusal to install required firmware updates
  • Denial of access to the system for inspection or service
  • Product inactivity for six (6) consecutive months or more
  • Use of non-original packaging during transport leading to damage
  • Exposure to abnormal external conditions (e.g., lightning, floods, fire, voltage surges)
  • Damage caused by force majeure or third parties
  • Intentional damage or misuse by the user
  • Unauthorized relocation and reinstallation without written approval

7. Service Beyond Warranty Period

For products outside the warranty period:

  • After-sales service may be offered at a fee
  • All associated costs (including parts, labor, transportation, and logistics) shall be borne by the customer
  • Customers must provide sufficient details of the defect for service evaluation

Note: Purch Electronics is not obligated to provide service outside the warranty period. Nothing herein constitutes a guarantee of such service.

8. Limitation of Liability

Purch Electronics shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of data, software, or personal information
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Damage caused by third-party accessories or attachments

9. Usage and Transportation Requirements (Inverters)

To maintain warranty validity for inverter systems (including lithium iron phosphate batteries), the following must be strictly observed:

Operating Environment

  • Temperature: -20 C to 50 C (derating above 45 C)
  • Humidity: 0%-95% RH
  • Altitude: <3000m
  • Free from dust, corrosive gases, and flammable materials
  • Installed on stable, level ground away from water and heat sources

Storage

  • Short-term: -20 C to 45 C
  • Long-term: 0 C to 35 C
  • Controlled humidity conditions as specified

Transportation

  • Use original packaging
  • Avoid stacking
  • Maintain battery SOC at 25%-40%
  • Ensure protection against vibration and impact

Installation and Use

  • Ensure correct voltage compatibility (AC: 400V, DC: up to 1000V)
  • Proper grounding (<1 Ohm resistance)
  • Avoid overcharging, over-discharging, and overheating
  • Follow correct wiring procedures
  • Do not disassemble without authorization
  • Use only dry powder fire extinguishers in emergencies

Failure to comply with these requirements may void the warranty.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding warranty eligibility:

  • Both parties may agree to conduct a joint test or engage a mutually approved third-party testing institution
  • Testing methods and evaluation criteria shall be jointly agreed upon
  • Testing fees shall initially be paid by the buyer
  • If the product is confirmed defective under warranty, Purch Electronics will reimburse testing and transportation costs and fulfill warranty obligations
